KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Strategy & Execution
- Develop and manage the business strategy and execution plan for the urban customer segment.
- Define strategic direction focused on building and accelerating a high-quality sales force, including young, dynamic, full-time agents and future sales leaders targeting urban customers.
- Develop and implement expansion plans across key cities nationwide, followed by rollout to additional major markets.
Sales Performance & Customer Experience
- Drive channel growth through both the quality and quantity of financial consultants, ensuring strong development pipelines toward managerial and leadership roles.
- Lead the execution of customer and sales journeys, ensuring a strong customer experience through needs-based selling and digital enablement strategies.
- Oversee and drive achievement of sales KPIs and overall business performance.
- Lead the development of value propositions including branding, marketing strategies, products, and service offerings.
Operations Management
- Manage overall operations including sales planning, performance tracking, compensation frameworks, incentive schemes, recruitment, and budget control.
Risk & Compliance Management
- Ensure all operations comply with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and group compliance policies.
- Proactively identify and manage operational and compliance risks.
People Management
- Build and develop a strong organizational structure with sufficient and capable talent.
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
- Foster a high-performance, engaged, and collaborative culture.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other tasks as assigned by senior management.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITY
- Accountable for overall business strategy, direction, and performance of the urban segment.
- Ensure successful implementation of the business model, including sales force quality and revenue growth from urban customers.
- Build a strong leadership pipeline and succession plan.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics, Insurance, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, sales management, or building and scaling business units.
- Experience in financial services, banking, or insurance industries is required.
- Strong understanding of the financial services and insurance market.
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of sales, distribution channels, customer experience, training, and operations.
- Experience in life insurance sales or training is an advantage.
- Strong execution capability with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Leadership Competencies
- Advanced leadership capability with proven ability to lead, inspire, and drive organizational performance.
