Production Manager (Shoe Last)

Location: Giang Dien Industrial Park, Giang Dien Commune, Trang Bom District, Dong Nai Province, Vietnam

1. Job Description
Responsible for managing the entire Shoe Last production in Vietnam, including block molding, CNC rough milling, SF6 finishing, pin drilling, patching, finishing, QC, packaging, and warehouse delivery. Ensure compliance with SOP, international Best Practices, and tolerance standards required by global customers (Nike, Adidas, NB…).

Key Responsibilities: 

• Plan daily/weekly/monthly output with target ~1,647 pairs/day (~42,822 pairs/month).
• Coordinate ~70–73 workers across 3 shifts.
• Manage supervisors, shift leaders, train operators on CNC, SF6, pin drilling, finishing per SOP.
• Ensure Lead Time: New last development in 2 days, delivery to WHQ within 4 days (Portland, total ~1 week). Urgent 3–4 days, Sample order to T1 factories: 3–5 days.
• Quality Control: ensure tolerance Ball girth ±0.2mm, Bottom length ±0.3mm, Heel height ±0.2mm, overall ±0.3~0.5mm.
• Follow SOP & Best Practices: manage LDR, Last codes, Data package (3D data, spec chart, 2D templates), coordinate with HQ & Model Room.
• Oversee machinery: CNC, SF6, block molding, pin drilling; implement energy saving, 5S, safety, recycling improvements.
• Report production output, quality, OT; analyze data for productivity improvement.

2. Requirements 

• College/University degree in Industrial Management, Mechanical Engineering, Production or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years production management experience (preferably in footwear, plastics, PU, CNC).
• Knowledge of Shoe Last production process, tolerance standards, spec chart, data package & international SOP.
• Skills: leadership, planning, data analysis, problem-solving, process improvement.
• Basic English communication or higher.
