POSITION TITLE : Finance Manager & Chief Accountant
LOCATION: Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam
REPORTING LINE: Regional Finance Business Partner SEA
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Lead the finance function for the Vietnam entity as both the statutory Chief Accountant and a strategic Finance Business Partner. Ensure full compliance with Vietnam accounting and tax requirements while providing financial insight, planning support and business partnering to local and regional management.

Finance Business Partnering

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Lead the finance function for the Vietnam entity as both the statutory Chief Accountant and a strategic Finance Business Partner. Ensure full compliance with Vietnam accounting and tax requirements while providing financial insight, planning support and business partnering to local and regional management.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Business Partnering
- Partner with local management to support profitable business growth.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and monthly performance reviews.
- Provide analysis and recommendations on revenue, profitability, costs, working capital and cash flow.
- Support business decisions through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Manage the full spectrum of accounting activities, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual closing.
- Prepare accurate statutory and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and reporting requirements.
- Serve as the appointed Chief Accountant in accordance with Vietnam regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and statutory submissions.
- Coordinate corporate income tax, VAT, PIT, foreign contractor tax and transfer pricing requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and government authorities.
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure continued compliance.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Oversee banking relationships and payment controls.
- Support foreign exchange and intercompany financing activities.
- Drive working capital improvements and effective receivables management.
- Support ERP implementation, localization and stabilization.
- Lead finance readiness for e-invoicing and other digital compliance requirements.
- Establish robust finance processes, policies and internal controls.
- Drive process standardization, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a strong internal control environment.
- Coordinate external accounting, payroll and compliance service providers.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, HR, IT, Regional Finance and Group Finance.
- Build and develop the local finance organization as the business grows.
- Education - Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- Qualifications - Vietnam Chief Accountant Certificate is mandatory. Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Experience - Minimum 8 years in finance with experience as Chief Accountant, Finance Manager or equivalent role within a multinational or foreign-invested company.
- Technical Skills - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA, strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IFRS & VAS), knowledge of One Stream will be an added advantage
- A strong team player and leader, self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently in agile and fast-paced environment
- Language literacy: Good verbal and written communication in English, Vietnamese. Proficiency in Chinese language would be added advantage,
