Mechanical Supervisor - QC Inspector

Location: Long Son Petrochemicals, Ba Ria - Vung Tau
Working Time: Monday – Saturday

Key Responsibilities

1. Support direct superior to control and maintain Mechanical (Static & Rotating) Construction Work.
2. Work with contractors, supervise and support contractors to complete assigned tasks.
3. Conduct inspections of construction materials for quality and durability.
4. Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure they align with designs and safety standards.
5. Conduct inspections of construction sites to assess compliance with design specifications and safety protocols.
6. Review relevant documents and drawings, including Work Method Statement (WMS) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
7. Act as a PTW (Permit to Work) requestor and perform related duties.
8. Act as a QC Inspector and perform related duties.
9. Participate in safety and 5S activities.
10. Perform other tasks as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

1. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
2. Good English communication and technical documentation skills.
3. Minimum 7 years' experience in: Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, LNG, Power Plant.
4. Hands-on experience with Static Equipment (Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Reactors); Rotating Equipment (Pumps, Compressors, Turbines, Blowers).
5. Familiar with: PTW, LOTO, JSA, Site Safety Management.
6. Knowledge of API 510 / API 653 is preferred (certificate is not mandatory).
7. Preferred Background: Candidates with experience from:

• Refinery & Petrochemical Plants
• LNG Facilities
• Oil & Gas Projects
• EPC Contractors
• Power Generation Plants
