A. Key Responsibilities
1. Maintenance Planning, Scheduling & Work Management
  • Develop and control maintenance plans, schedules, job plans, and resource-loaded schedules.
  • Promote safe, environmentally responsible, and professional maintenance practices.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Materials Handling, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to ensure work readiness and resource availability.
  • Monitor maintenance backlogs, work order status, constraints, and schedule deviations.
  • Support planning, scheduling, and execution of both routine and non-routine maintenance activities.
  • Ensure material, spare part availability, and work order readiness prior to execution.
2. Maintenance Performance, Reliability & Records
  • Maintain maintenance databases and equipment history records.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance performance reports.
  • Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities through data collection, analysis, and improvement of action tracking.
3. Budget, Procurement & CAPEX Support
  • Assist Maintenance teams in preparing mechanical maintenance budgets.
  • Monitor budget utilization and support cost control initiatives.
4. Outage & Project Planning
  • Develop and coordinate plans for minor, major, and forced outages.
  • Monitor outage progress and provide daily updates, including S-Curve tracking.
  • Maintain outage scope, schedules, work readiness status, and project control documentation.
  • Analyze schedules, identify delays and risks, and recommend recovery actions.
  • Support management decision-making through progress monitoring and reporting.
5. Maintenance Strategy & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain planning standards, procedures, and documentation.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and maintenance-related training programs.
  • Contribute to maintenance strategy development and competency enhancement activities.
B. Requirements
Education: 
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a power plant or similar industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance planning, scheduling, and work management practices.
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with P&ID drawings, visual inspections, and preventive/periodic maintenance.
  • Good understanding of maintenance strategies and reliability principles.
  • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies.
  • Experience with MAXIMO CMMS is an advantage.
  • Training certificates related to supercritical power plants (Boiler, Turbine, Generator, or Electrical Systems) are preferred.
Language & Soft Skills
  • Business-level English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
Other Requirements: Willing to work overtime and weekends when required.
