General Accountant

A. Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Record and process daily accounting transactions in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and the Company's accounting policies.
• Perform full-set accounting activities and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review and reconcile all revenue, expenses, and accounting entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare management reports related to finance, accounting, budgeting, and cash flow.

2. Project Accounting

• Support project accounting activities as assigned.
• Coordinate with Project Accountants to calculate project costs and prepare cost analyses.
• Assist in project financial reporting and accounting documentation.

3. Tax Compliance

• Prepare and submit periodic tax declarations, including: Value Added Tax (VAT), Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Personal Income Tax (PIT).
• Coordinate with Project Accountants to calculate and declare Foreign Contractor Tax (FCT) when applicable.
• Support annual tax finalization and ensure compliance with Vietnamese tax regulations.
• Provide tax advice to internal departments, project teams, and foreign contractors regarding applicable tax policies.

4. Financial Control & Process Improvement

• Review and improve accounting procedures, financial controls, and accounting workflows.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting regulations.
• Participate in developing and optimizing finance and accounting processes.

5. Audit Support

• Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with independent auditors, internal auditors, and government inspection authorities during financial audits and inspections.

6. Other tasks: Perform other tasks assigned by line managers.

B. Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Accounting & Auditing from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Accountant in manufacturing or construction companies or minimum 3 years of experience with one of the Big4 accounting firms.
• Good command of English (4 skills).
• Strong knowledge of VAS, VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT, financial reporting, cost accounting, and cash flow management.
• Professional accounting certifications or relevant training are an advantage.

C. Other information

• Working time: Monday to Saturday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Working location: Vung Tau City
• Interview Process: 2-3 offline interview rounds
