Equity Research Manager

Job Purpose

Lead the Corporate Research Department, oversee the identification and fundamental analysis of listed companies, and provide investment recommendations and advisory services to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and take full responsibility for all research reports produced by the Corporate Research team.

• Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of research analysts within the department.

• Establish and maintain relationships with corporations and organize periodic company visits (quarterly and annually) for analysts to gather information and prepare research reports.

• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities through fundamental analysis and develop recommended investment portfolios.

• Participate in investment presentations, seminars, and client advisory activities.

• Develop work plans, assign tasks, and conduct quarterly KPI evaluations for team members.

• Coordinate and perform other duties as assigned by the Division Director.

Requirements

• Graduated with excellent academic performance from a recognized university or higher-level institution, majoring in Economics, Finance, Banking, Investment, Auditing, or related fields.

• Preference will be given to candidates holding a postgraduate degree from an overseas university and/or professional certifications such as CFA or CPA.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in investment analysis, equity research, or corporate research.

• Strong presentation and communication skills in both Vietnamese and English, with the ability to deliver persuasive investment recommendations.

• Proficient in English across all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills.

• Ability to build relationships with listed companies, investors, and key market stakeholders.

• Deep understanding of Vietnam's capital markets and investment landscape.
