Head of Sales – Coating, Painting & Chemical Industry

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Sales to lead the overall sales function in the coating, painting, and chemical industry. This role will oversee national sales operations, drive strategic growth initiatives, and ensure the company’s market leadership through strong execution and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales leadership: Define and implement the company’s sales vision, strategy, and roadmap across Vietnam.

• Revenue growth: Set ambitious targets, monitor performance, and ensure consistent achievement of sales and profitability goals.

• Market expansion: Identify new market segments, partnerships, and distribution channels to strengthen market presence.

• Team development: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales organization, including managers and field teams.

• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with marketing, R&D, supply chain, and finance to align strategies and deliver customer-focused solutions.

• Key account strategy: Oversee relationships with strategic clients and partners, ensuring long-term growth and loyalty.

• Market intelligence: Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to guide decision-making.

• Executive reporting: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 10+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the coating, painting, or chemical industry.

• Strong track record in strategic sales leadership, market expansion, and revenue growth.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.

• Fluency in Vietnamese and English is required.
