Senior Investment Manager

ROLE PURPOSE

A leading international real estate developer with extensive experience across various real estate sectors is expanding its residential development operations in Vietnam.

The company focuses on identifying, investing in, and developing residential projects in Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding areas. The role will be responsible for managing the full investment lifecycle, from project sourcing, investment evaluation, partnership structuring, legal coordination, financing support, and project development execution until key approval milestones are achieved.

The Senior Investment Manager will report directly to the Vietnam CEO and work closely with regional/international investment teams to identify opportunities, execute investment strategies, and support business growth.

The development team will continue to expand alongside the company’s residential investment portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Investment Sourcing & Execution

• Identify and evaluate residential real estate investment opportunities through strong market networks, including developers, brokers, landowners, and industry stakeholders.
• Conduct comprehensive investment analysis, including market assessment, financial modelling, risk evaluation, land and project legal due diligence.
• Develop acquisition strategies, prepare investment proposals, and support investment committee review processes.
• Lead negotiations with partners and stakeholders to structure and close investment transactions.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to support contract preparation and transaction execution.

Project Development & Management

• Manage projects throughout development stages, ensuring alignment with investment objectives and business plans.
• Coordinate with joint venture partners, consultants, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate project approvals and execution.
• Monitor project financial performance, update financial models, and provide regular investment performance analysis.
• Support financing activities and maintain relationships with banking partners and financial institutions.

Business Strategy & Market Intelligence

• Prepare periodic market analysis and investment reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Work closely with the CEO to develop and execute business plans aligned with short-term and long-term growth objectives.
• Provide insights on market trends, investment opportunities, and potential risks.

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

• Represent the company in engagement with government authorities, financial institutions, partners, and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships within the real estate ecosystem.
• Recruit, develop, and lead investment team members as the business expands.
• Perform other assignments as directed by the CEO and Board of Directors.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of experience in residential real estate investment, development, or related fields.
• Proven track record in identifying, evaluating, and executing residential real estate investment opportunities.
• Strong understanding of the Vietnam real estate market, including investment processes, legal frameworks, and project development cycles.
• Extensive industry network with developers, investors, brokers, financial institutions, and relevant stakeholders.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in investment analysis, financial modelling, and feasibility assessment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and ability to operate in a growth-stage environment.
• Proven leadership capability with experience building and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related disciplines (or equivalent professional experience).
• High level of integrity, credibility, professionalism, and ethical standards.
