COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary: 22,000,000 – 27,000,000 VND gross • Private health insurance • 13th salary bonus • Social insurance full gross salary

JOB SUMMARY AND SCOPE

• Under general supervision, this position is responsible for general ledger journal entries, month-end close procedures, and analyzing balances in accounts for appropriateness.
• This position performs account reconciliations and is required to have detailed knowledge of all general ledger accounts and their contents.
• This position is required to meet all scheduled monthly financial reporting and tax deadlines, and provide accurate and timely analysis and research as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Frequent interaction with Managers and operation teams throughout the Company.
• Assist with one or more general ledger accounts in assigned accounting area(s) to include preparation of supporting schedules, preparation of appropriate journal entries, and reconciliation of account(s).
• Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close.
• Develop understanding and proficiency of US or local GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles).
• Perform related duties and responsibilities.
• Participate on other initiatives as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Must be a self-starter and results driven.
• Positive and professional demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact effectively with a variety of team members in various departments.
• Collaborative skills: works cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving skills, and excellent attention to detail.
• Undergraduate 4 year degree from an accredited College/University required (Accounting or Finance Major preferred).
• 3+ years of related work experience.
• Intermediate understanding and proficiency of US or local GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles).
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Access, SharePoint.
• Experience with major ERP (enterprise resource planning) software applications (Oracle, etc.).
• Working knowledge of on-line analytical processing (OLAP) tools such as Hyperion.
• Experience within the Distribution industry and familiarity with operational requirements preferred.
• For locations outside USA — bilingualism is required — working knowledge (oral & written) of English and local official language(s)
• Chinese preferred to have (plus point not required)
