This role will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of digital and AI initiatives in a manufacturing environment by combining strong project management capabilities with applied knowledge of AI/analytics use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of digital and AI projects (from use case identification, pilot implementation to full deployment and scaling).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and refine AI/analytics use cases aligned with operational needs.
- Translate business requirements into structured project plans and data-driven solutions.
- Manage cross-functional stakeholders, including Manufacturing, Engineering, IT, Data teams, and external vendors.
- Ensure project delivery meets timeline, scope, budget, and expected business impact.
- Identify and manage risks, especially related to data availability and quality or system integration.
- Coordinate with solution vendors and monitor delivery performance
- Drive user adoption, change management, and continuous improvement after deployment
- Track and report project progress to management and steering committee
- Perform other tasks as assigned by line manager.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Data, or related fields.
- Preferred Certifications:
- Project Management: PMP, PRINCE2 certification
- AI / Data: Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) or equivalent
- Data Analytics (optional): Power BI (PL-300)
Related experience
- 3–6 years of experience in project management or digital/IT projects
- Proven experience in delivering at least 1–2 AI / data / automation projects in a real business environment
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment is a strong advantage
- Experience working with vendors, system integrators, and cross-functional teams
- Languages: English (Advanced level, with ability to work in cross-functional and international environments), Vietnamese (Native).
- Project Management: Planning, execution, risk and stakeholder management
- Applied AI Understanding: Strong knowledge of AI use cases such as Computer Vision, Predictive Maintenance, Data Analytics
- Business Translation: Ability to translate operational problems into digital/AI solutions
- Data Awareness: Understanding of data lifecycle, data quality, and reporting
- Communication: Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills
