1. Summary: The Development Manager will oversee the development and optimization the components of footwear products. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet the highest standards of performance, comfort, and durability. And meet the customer expectations on the timeline and productivity.
2. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Development team in designing and developing high performance PU foam insoles for footwear applications
- Conduct research on PU foam properties, manufacturing processes, and emerging technologies to enhance product quality and durability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and marketing, to align R&D efforts with business objectives
- Following and be responsible for new projects tooling testing given by Development Manager or other related Dept
- Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation of new insole designs to meet industry standards and customer expectations
- Coordinate with T1 for project development from initial stage to mass production.
- Ensure all products meet company standards for performance, aesthetics, and cost effectiveness.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production teams to translate design concepts into manufactural products.
- Discuss with Team about planning/ fixing and organizing new projects
- Travel Requirements (30%): Binh Duong, Dong Nai,….
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of PU Pouring/ PU foam for Insole components.
- Awareness of Tooling making/ tooling design process for new product.
- English/ Computer Skill (Word/ Excel/ PPT/ Outlook..)
- Knowing Chinese and using 3D program (Rhino) is an advantage
- Set up Material standards/ SOP/ PFC to transfer to production effectively.
- Ability to reading and understand 2D/3D
- Communication Skill and Team work
- Research and Development background in Footwear Company, especially in bottom component (Insole/ Midsole…)
- Understanding about PU foam material and properties and its application in footwear
- Tooling experiences and technical field
